Uses
It is applied to protect buildings from solar heat, reduce internal temperature, and create a seamless watertight membrane. It can also be applied directly over rusted metal to prevent further corrosion.
Advantages
The coating offers high solar reflectivity (93%), UV resistance, fungal resistance, and excellent adhesion without primer in most cases. It is non-toxic, non-flammable, energy-efficient, flexible, and resistant to abrasion and corrosion.
Application
Surfaces must be clean and dry. Apply two coats by brush, roller, or airless spray, maintaining a minimum dry film thickness of 300 microns. Recoating time is approximately two hours at 25°C.
Coverage
Theoretical coverage is 4.8 sq. mtr/kg/coat with two recommended coats.
Physical & Thermal Properties
Solid content 60%, elongation 500%, strong surface adhesion (>15 ksc), vapour transmission 0.1 perms, and service temperature up to 120°C. It shows excellent fire resistance (ASTM E-84) .
Shelf Life & Packing
Best used within 12 months; available in 1, 4, 20, and 200 kg HDPE containers.
Handling Precautions:
Avoid ingestion, wash splashes with water, and seek medical advice if eye contact occurs.
